Take One: Smile Concert Presentation
Tuesday, April 15 at 7:30 PM
Before Smile debuted on Broadway with a sparkling score by Marvin Hamlisch and Howard Ashman, an entirely different (and equally brilliant) score was created by Marvin Hamlisch and Carolyn Leigh (Wildcat, Little Me). It was put on the shelf after Leigh’s death. Now, for the first time in public, the Hamlisch/Leigh’s score will be heard in all its glory!
The cast will feature Corinna Sowers Adler (Ragtime), Steven Brinberg (Funny Girl), Daisy Carnelia (The Bad Years), Quinn Corcoran (Legally Blonde), Bruce Landry (Harmony), Lena Marano (The Goodbye Girl), Michael McAssey (Late Nite Comic), Kylie McNeill (Belle), Ashley Morton (Clue), Skye Papa (2025 YoungArts Winner), Jenna Lea Rosen (Mack and Mabel), Adam B. Shapiro (Fiddler on the Roof), and more to be announced soon.

Take One: World Premiere of Cat and Mouse. Precursor to Drat! The Cat!
Tuesday, May 13th at 7:30 PM
Before Drat! Cat And Mouse's songs were later reworked and/or replaced with alternate numbers, all featuring new music by Schafer. J2 Spotlight is proud to present the world premiere of Levin's original, self-written Cat And Mouse score.
